"I have been using ProSharp machines for 20 years. I find the system superior to other systems as the blades are not overworked and provides excellent blade profile support and balance. In the hockey development programs that I represent we study in detail how the players manage our drills. From these drills and through our on and off ice testing data we can identify problems and work on refining the players' skates, strength, agility and skating technique. First, we make sure the skate boots are aligned to the blades and that the skates fit properly, then we profile and sharpen the blades to achieve the optimum skates. With prosharp we can clearly see the instant on-ice advantage.
The ProSharp machines provide perfectly sharpened skates for every practice and every game, which is imperative to mastering our demanding practices and to developing the players' overall performance."Tomas Storm 2009 - Hockey Skills Instructor. The first annual Upper Deck Rookie Debut - hockey card photo day with the new top rookies was held at Hershey Centre August 26/09. ProSharp SkatePal sharpened and serviced their new skates together with Mississauga St Michael's Tom Frater. It was thumbs up and big smiles all day long as the playful group of new stars finished off with a very skillful and entertaining scrimmage.

Finn,
Michael and I would like to thank you for getting our SkatePal. We were able to keep his skates sharp! every 4 hours on the ice, I sharpened his skates. By seasons's end I was sharpening up to 8 pairs of skates per game. Michael was MVP in the SCTA Championships in York. He combined with the other goalie to have the lowest GAA in the year. We are very happy with our SkatePal and using it constantly. Thanks again, Clyde & Michael Bullion, Oakville Rangers 1997 AAA.
Hi John,
I can still remember the day last summer when I walked by our truck in the parking lot of our local rink. You were demonstrating the skate pal to who ever would listen, my first reaction was, as if that " THING" can sharpen skates good enough for any one that is serious about hockey, it looked like a "TOY" from a distance.
As the week of hockey school went on, I watched and listened about the benefits of the Skate Pal, it was only after my own sons skates had been sharpened and I noticed an immediate improvement in his skating speed that I was 100% sold on this fine peace of ingenuity. I couldn't wait to get my winter team set up on the program, not only would the teams skates be sharpened with consistency, but I could only imagine the convenience of having the Skate Pal with the team on road trips while away at tournaments.
I can tell you that The skate Pal was every thing that the team had hoped for, what a feeling for the parents, players and coaches to know that on Sunday before starting a semi final game at a tournament, that all the players had a good edge on their skates, and it was the same edge that they skated with a month before.
The East Nippising Vipers Atom team had a very successful year to say the least, they were the only local team to win the International Silver Stick in some 38 years. Everybody knows there are many components to a winning season, but I'm 100 % convinced that the Skate Pal is as important as all others.
Best Regards
Mark Rich, Coach - East Nippising Vipers 2008/09
Hello Mr. Eriksson:
A friend of mine Larry Gabel suggested I contact you regarding a program you have for teams to use your SkatePal unit. This past weekend Larry did my daughters skates at the North American Prospects Tournament in Buffalo – I was actually thinking about driving back to Hamilton, Ontario to get my daughters skates sharpened when Larry told me he had your SkatePal unit in his hotel room. With the Semi finals hours away – and the fact that one of the skates had clearly lost its edge I hesitated about having Larry do my skates. My daughter is very picky about her skates (has been for a number of years – and could tell the minute someone else did her skates). We use skate boots as much as possible and practice good skate maintenance – but it is not always possible to keep razor sharp edges in arenas as the rubber pads tend to hold alot of grit. We use a tool to try to maintain her edges until we can get back to her favourite skate technician – presently she has been using the Maximum Edge system. We found this to be the best out there... until now. I have to tell you that this was the first time she has ever raved about her skates. I was very surprised at her reaction to the sharpening Larry did. When Larry did my daughters skates I immediately noticed that there was no heat generated at all. The cut finish was so smooth it looked like a mirror. I was impressed with how quickly, easily and quietly this machine sharpens the skates.
Larry mentioned you had a program for teams and the SkatePal unit – I’m very interested in the program he talked to me about. I am the Head Coach for the Aurora Pee Wee AA team and would be interested in getting our team on your program. Especially since my #1 skate critic absolutely loves her skates after using your SkatePal system. Everyone knows how picky she is about her skates! Could you advise on how your program works?

“All players from our team are using a combination of the SkatePal sharpening and the Zuperior profile. The players' skates are always perfect each and every time they step on the ice and they are able to perform at their optimal level. Players are reporting that they are playing beyond what they believed were their own personal limits and it has definitely helped them to be able to compete at a higher level.” James Hicks Head Coach Ottawa Little Senators AAA Minor Peewee 2009.
ProSharp SkatePal Sharpen for Wendel Clark, Borje Salming, Mark Napier and Gary Roberts, among many others at the Baycrest International Pro-Am Hockey Tournament presented by Scotiabank April 24 & 25, 2009 at Canlan Ice Sports, York University Campus. Without a doubt the hockey greats were thrilled with the added speed the new sharpening technology brought to their game.

Its nice to follow how well Sami Salo plays in the NHL play off, since he got an own SkatePal, and the Canucks team as well, they got the AS 2001 Allpro model.
