Tournament Champs East Coast Selects

This past weekend in Kingston, Ontario the 1997 East Coast Selects - Team Ontario won the tournament with a perfect 6-0 record. Most of the players are now using the ProSharp Zuperior profile with a 5/8 hollow. Several have also moved to the Prosharp Channel-Z with a 7/8 hollow and are amazed by the grip and speed they have picked up. Upper Deck NHL Rookie Debut

The first annual Upper Deck Rookie Debut - hockey card photo day with the new top rookies was held at Hershey Centre August 26/09. Michael and I would like to thank you for getting our SkatePal. We were able to keep his skates sharp! every 4 hours on the ice, I sharpened his skates. By seasons's end I was sharpening up to 8 pairs of skates per game. Michael was MVP in the SCTA Championships in York. He combined with the other goalie to have the lowest GAA in the year. Hi John,

I can still remember the day last summer when I walked by our truck in the parking lot of our local rink. You were demonstrating the skate pal to who ever would listen, my first reaction was, as if that " THING" can sharpen skates good enough for any one that is serious about hockey, it looked like a "TOY" from a distance.

As the week of hockey school went on, I watched and listened about the benefits of the Skate Pal, it was only after my own sons skates had been sharpened and I noticed an immediate improvement in his skating speed that I was 100% sold on this fine peace of ingenuity. I couldn't wait to get my winter team set up on the program, not only would the teams skates be sharpened with consistency, but I could only imagine the convenience of having the Skate Pal with the team on road trips while away at tournaments.

I can tell you that The skate Pal was every thing that the team had hoped for, what a feeling for the parents, players and coaches to know that on Sunday before starting a semi final game at a tournament, that all the players had a good edge on their skates, and it was the same edge that they skated with a month before.

The East Nippising Vipers Atom team had a very successful year to say the least, they were the only local team to win the International Silver Stick in some 38 years. Everybody knows there are many components to a winning season, but I'm 100 % convinced that the Skate Pal is as important as all others.

Hello Mr. Eriksson:

A friend of mine Larry Gabel suggested I contact you regarding a program you have for teams to use your SkatePal unit. This past weekend Larry did my daughters skates at the North American Prospects Tournament in Buffalo – I was actually thinking about driving back to Hamilton, Ontario to get my daughters skates sharpened when Larry told me he had your SkatePal unit in his hotel room. With the Semi finals hours away – and the fact that one of the skates had clearly lost its edge I hesitated about having Larry do my skates. My daughter is very picky about her skates (has been for a number of years – and could tell the minute someone else did her skates). We use skate boots as much as possible and practice good skate maintenance – but it is not always possible to keep razor sharp edges in arenas as the rubber pads tend to hold alot of grit. We use a tool to try to maintain her edges until we can get back to her favourite skate technician – presently she has been using the Maximum Edge system. We found this to be the best out there... until now. I have to tell you that this was the first time she has ever raved about her skates. I was very surprised at her reaction to the sharpening Larry did. When Larry did my daughters skates I immediately noticed that there was no heat generated at all. The cut finish was so smooth it looked like a mirror. I was impressed with how quickly, easily and quietly this machine sharpens the skates.

Larry mentioned you had a program for teams and the SkatePal unit – I’m very interested in the program he talked to me about. I am the Head Coach for the Aurora Pee Wee AA team and would be interested in getting our team on your program. Especially since my #1 skate critic absolutely loves her skates after using your SkatePal system. Everyone knows how picky she is about her skates! Could you advise on how your program works?
